Happy Salmon is a simple, fast-paced card game packed with high-fivin', fin-flappin' fun.

Setup

Pick a card color and take those 12 cards. Shuffle your cards and keep them face down in a stack in your hand.


Object of the Game

Be the first player to discard your last card and shout "FIN-ished!" You win!

A Marathon Match is played up to 15 points (i.e. the first player to score 15 points is the winner). The match starts by playing an 'Initial Round', exactly as described above for Single Round play. After the end of this first round (and subsequent rounds), two important things will happen:


A 'Sumo' (or 'Double Sumo' or 'Triple Sumo') is Born!

The player who won the first (or previous) round places an octagonal 'Sumo ring' on the appropriate dragon tower (as described for a Standard or Long Match). If the tower concerned has no rings on it already (i.e. it is an 'ordinary' tower), the largest size of Sumo ring is used. …

Tips for the First Game

Before the very first game of MENARA, it is advisable simply to build a tower without using the construction plan cards. Just observe the rules for placing the columns and building the temple floors. This way, you get a feel for the architecture of the temple of MENARA.

After that, look at the construction plan cards in order to get an idea of what kinds of tasks exist in which pile.

Object of the Game

Each player is the owner of a water zoo. Each player tries to lure as many visitors as possible into his water zoo and earns points for the visitors that visit his zoo. To create a zoo that people want to visit, a player must collect animals.

When a player's water zoo is successful, he may want to expand it. When a player's animal basins are full, he must place additional animals into his depot, which loses him points at game end.
