Euchre is a trump game normally played by four people divided into two teams. Partners sit directly across from each other.


The Deck

The most common deck contains 24 cards; Nine, Ten, Jack, Queen, King and Ace of Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts and Spades (six "ranks" of four "suits"). That's simply a regular poker deck without 2's through 8's.
