If you have successfully moved a pawn backwards at least two spaces beyond your own START space, you may, on a subsequent turn, move into your own SAFETY ZONE without moving all the way around the board.

Keep the square outside of your start free. Only when you drawn a one or a two, you can move a pawn out of start.
If that square is occupied, you will need to use it to move the pawn out of the way and that's a waste.

Split Sevens smart! Try to use it to get your pawn into your safety zone or home by the use of this card.

Use one and two always to get pawns out of start and into play. The more pawns are out, the more options you have. Keep also some low cards to get a pawn into your home easier.

When you draw a Sorry card, you take one of your pawns from your Start and bump another player's pawn back to their Start.
The the pawn to bump that is closest to the entry of your safety zone.

Use the Seven card to bump back some dangerous pawn close to its safety zone when it is possible.

Use high numbers to move your pawns as quickly as possible around the board and to avoid the sliders.

Keep one pawn close it its start for when you draw a 4 or a 10. You can now move your pawn backwards and place it in the next move already in the Safete Zone.
