  • Instructions

Object of the Game

Use your pattern-matching skills and be the first to collect 5 shells (one of each pattern).

Setup

  1. Scatter all the shells onto the seascape (inside of box).

  2. Give each player a Shell Snack Mat.

  3. Pass the Sophie Squeezer to the youngest player.

Game Play

On their turn, players spin the spinner.

Note: You can collect only one shell of each pattern.

If a player Spins:

  • A Pattern - Find a shell that matches the pattern (the color of the shell does not matter) and use Sophie to place it on the matching space on your Shell Snack Mat.

  • One Shell - Choose any shell from the seascape and use Sophie to place it on the matching space on your Shell Snack Mat.

  • Two Shells - Choose any two shells from the seascape and use Sophie to place them on the matching spaces on your Shell Snack Mat.

  • Hungry Otter - Use Sophie to take a shell from another player and place it on the matching space on your Shell Snack Mat.

  • Big Wave - A big wave is crashing the shell-collecting party. ALL PLAYERS lose a shell!

  • Otto The Octopus-Otto loves to play games.

Ante up and try your luck!

    1. Take a shell from your Shell Snack Mat and place it on the table next to Otto.

    2. Spin the spinner.

      • If you land on Otto OR if you land on the pattern that matches your shell, you can take your shell back AND pick up an additional shell from the ocean!

      • Spin anything else and Otto will toss your shell back into the ocean. Better luck next time!
