Components

  • 200 Family Feud survey cards
  • 1 Answer Board
  • 1 Scoreboard with Strike Indicator
  • 1 Wipe Off Marker
  • 1 Instruction sheet

Object of the Game

To have the most points at the end of 3 rounds by matching the most popular survey answers (to some of our most ridiculous survey questions)!

Setup

Select someone to serve as host/MC and divide remaining players into 2 teams.

Note: For a 3-player game, one player acts as MC with remaining two playing against one another.

Place the survey cords, Answer Board, Scoreboard, and marker within reach of the host.

The Face-off Rounds

Each round begins with a one-on-one Face-Off as a player from each team tries to take control of the question by giving the most popular answer.

Each team chooses a player for the Face-Off.

The host announces the number of answers on the board for the question and reads the question aloud.

Each player competes to answer the question first by raising his/her hand. The host chooses the player who raised his/her hand first, and that player must then answer the question immediately.

If the answer given is the number one answer for the survey question, the host announces the number one answer has been given and writes the answer and point value in the corresponding spaces on the Answer Board.

The player who gave the answer then selects whether his/her team wishes Io PLAY or PASS the question.

If the answer given is NOT the top answer on the board, the host announces its place and point value and writes it in on the Answer Board. The opposing team is then given a chance to give an answer.

If their answer is placed higher, they get the chance to pass or play. If their answer is lower, control goes back to the first team.

Note: If a player fails to give on answer immediately, he/she loses his/her turn.

If both players give an answer that Isn't on the answer board, a new player Is chosen from each team to answer the question In the same order as the first two players. In a 3 player game, each player gets another chance, in turn, until the question is in play.

The Winner of the FaceOff may ploy the question or pass the question to the other team. The team playing the questions becomes the "controlling team".

Question #1: Players on the controlling team take turns guessing the answers to question #1. Players cannot help each other answer the question. In a 3 player game, the player in control tries to give all the remaining answers before three STRIKES are mode.

Host Duties

The Host announces how many answers there ore to the survey. When a player gives o correct answer, the Host announces it, and records it and the point value on the corresponding space on the Answer Board.

When a player gives on the incorrect answer or fakes too long to give an answer (determined by the Host), it counts as a strike. The Host puts on 'X' in one of the three strike boxes in the "Strike Indicator" section of the scoreboard.

Winning the Round

If the controlling team gives all the remaining answers to Question #1 without getting three strikes, the points ore totaled and added to the Scorecard under their name.

If the controlling team gets three strikes before all the remaining answers ore guessed, the opposing team takes control and is allowed one guess to try to match a remaining answer and steal the points.

If they don't guess correctly, the points ore awarded to the original controlling team.

Note: Please wipe off all answers and strikes before moving on to Question #2

Face-off Round 2 - Double Points

Question #2: A new member from each team is chosen for the FaceOff and as in Question #1, The Host announces the number of answers on the board for the question and reads the question aloud.

The game is played the same as in Question #1, but the final point total is doubled when written on the scorecard section for that round.

Face-off Round 3 - Double Points

Question #3: A new member from each team is chosen for the FaceOff and the Host repeats the opening procedure from Questions #1 and #2. The game is played the same as in Questions #1 and #2.

As on Question #2, the final point total is doubled when written on the scorecard section tor that round.
